Joy School Graduation

Yesterday was Joy School Graduation. The kids sang some songs they had learned throughout the year. Then they marched in with their caps on as all the moms hummed Pomp and Circumstance, then they received their certificates. Then we had a pizza party!

Oh Boy, I've Got Joy! It starts in my head....after two year of teaching, I still don't know the words to

this song! But the kids did a fantastic job singing it!!

The girls were less than thrilled to have to take pictures. I bribed Aliza with juice just to get the picture

of her with me. You can see how happy she was about it. No bribing could convince Carmen to take

a picture with her mom!!

Joy School Grads

Another year of Joy School has come and gone. Carmen and Aliza just loved going each time to their friends houses to have school.  Each night as I would tuck them into bed they would ask if they had school in the morning and at who's house it would be held. 

Since Carmen has officially completed Joy School, I wanted to post a progression of her preschool years.

Carmen couldn't be more ready to start "big kid" school. She has got so many talents and so much energy, that it's time she has somewhere to focus it all to.

I was a little nervous about her starting preschool because she was going to be the youngest out of 8 kids. But she did a wonderful job, loved every second of it and grew by leaps and bounds! It was such a great experience for her. She learned to write her name and now is a master colorer by staying in the lines!  I am so proud of her accomplishments this year.
