Washington DC

We made a trip up to DC when Carmen had a few days off of school. We stayed in a nice hotel just a few blocks from the Smithsonian, so we were able to walk every where we needed to go. The girls had been asking a lot of questions about dinosaurs, so we went to the Natural History Museum. We also went to the White House, and the Air and Space Museum. We all had a great and much needed relaxing time. Since no one in my family cooperates enough to snap a picture, I have very little evidence of the trip.
The White House - Carmen didn't want to be in the picture

We watched an IMAX movie about the ocean - pretty cool

No one wanted to pose in front of the Washington Monument, so I had to take one when they weren't looking.

Everyone was very tired after a long day of walking.  Charlotte fell asleep on David's head! And it was really cold! Despite my warnings of the cold, no one was prepared for it.

SOCA Soccer

This Fall we signed Carmen up for soccer. She was very excited about the idea of getting to be on a team and even more excited about David being the assistant coach. David has really loved the opportunity to spend more time with her and getting out and being active.
