Easter
We had a nice Easter this year. We enjoyed several Easter egg hunts and came home with more candy than we ever needed.
There is something special about a dad with his daughters.
Counting the loot!
Aliza is all smiles, she must have gotten some sweet treats.
My parents do a great egg hunt each year at their house. The kids love it and always come home feeling so loved by Oma and Poppy!
These three just sat and laughed at us the whole time because we couldn't find all the eggs!! Poppy was a good hider. Sarah took good care of Dallin for us too.
I love these kids!!
(even though Dallin cried the whole time we took pictures)
Why, oh why is taking a family picture SOOOOOO difficult?! This was the best one we got.
The many faces of Dallin
The girls can not get enough of this little guy! They are constantly kissing him, asking to hold him, and fussing with him. I'm glad there hasn't been any hard adjustments for any of them. Charlotte is always saying two things about Dallin:
I think he likes me!
and
I think he wants to hold me!
Carmen got this American Girl doll car for her birthday. We figured Dallin would fit perfectly inside, and he did! But I don't think he cared for the pink color! Someone made this comment that this picture is sure to end up at his wedding reception.

Aliza has finally warmed up to holding him. It's so sweet to see how loving his sisters are to him. I'm sure it won't last forever, but it's so sweet for now.
I love the way he snuggles his little face into my neck when he's asleep.
Ready for the Easter Bunny

He had his one month checkup yesterday. He's now 10 lbs. 10 oz. and 21 1/2 in. and he has started smiling, which is so endearing.
Carmen turned 7
Carmen turned seven! She didn't have a party this year - I was still recovering from having Dallin and surgery. I wasn't able to get anything put together, as much as she really wanted to have a party.
(I felt a little lot guilty)

We've been learning how to make friendship bracelets with her new kit.
She can keep up with all the neighborhood kids with her new bike!
(complete with a water bottle holder)
And I'm pretty certain she wished for a horse...
