Ward Campout

Right at the beginning of the school year, our ward had a campout.  We really were looking forward to it! Every camping trip we seem to come away with some great memories.

 Carmen could almost always be found wherever the boys were! Yikes, she's starting young!

 It was a fun trip and fairly uneventful, except for the part where I woke up in a puddle of pee from this little girl wetting the bed. We were on an air mattress so it all just settled on top and around me, since I was the heaviest on the mattress....  And with it only being an overnight trip, I didn't bring any extra clothes.... it made for a really fun and COLD morning.

Hoe Down

We attended a hoe down at church which was an effort to raise money for an eagle scout project. Our whole family was really excited about going and even made an attempt to dress the part. We enjoyed some fun line dancing and a a blue grass band, but the night ended early because Carmen and Dallin were both coming down with croup.

Slime!

I found this idea on Pinterest to make slime. It brought back memories of my sister, our neighbor Kathy and myself buying slime out of the quarter machines at the grocery store... I thought it would be just as thrilling and fun. Making it was fun, but once it was made the excitement was over.  I wouldn't waste your money on the supplies to make this one.

Hair Bows

It's not very often that the girls will let me do something fancy with their hair, and my repertoire of hair styles is very limited, but Aliza did let me try this idea on her and it turned out so darling! 

Bike Rodeo

We loaded the bikes in the car and enjoyed a really fun evening at the Baker-Butler bike rodeo. We've only been at this school for two months and we've already been to more PTO sponsored events then we ever went to at Hollymead.
