Sugar and Spice to Puppy Dog Tails

The other day while Dallin was taking a bath, he had some of his Transformers lined up on the edge of the tub. It brought back immediate memories of a picture I had taken 5 years ago of Carmen in Mountain House. Our floors have gone from being cluttered with Polly Pockets and Princesses to more cars, trains, planes and Transformers than I could have ever imagined before Dallin joined our family. Having a boy has opened up a whole new world to me, and I love it!

Ivy Creek Pictures

When school picture day forms come home I'm usually excited to get new pictures of the kids. But this year, the thought of forking out that kind of money x 3 was more than I could stomach. I knew I could take equal to, if not better pictures for free. The girls were game, so we headed off on a beautiful fall day to Ivy Creek. These pictures are what we came home with. Plus we had a fun adventure while there! Win/Win

Aliza was way more into posing than anyone else.

This next series is just so Charlotte!

Halloween

I think Halloween is my kids favorite holiday. They just love it... I could pass it right by and never miss a beat. These pictures are from the school trunk or treat. We had to stop at Target on the way there and Carmen stated that this moment was the most embarrassed she has ever been! Which made it a proud mommy moment for me.

Dallin hadn't yet learned the "dump all the candy out and grab what you want" game. But he quickly caught on! He also didn't care for a costume, but he made a super cute 2 yr. old boy!
I didn't get any pictures from Halloween night. But it has become tradition to sit out on the driveway eating chili with friends around the fire pit. The kids trick or treat for a little while, but spend most of the evening passing out the candy. That is their most favorite part.
Now onto Thanksgiving!! (MY favorite holiday)

Family Pictures - Fall 2014

Family picture are so stressful, but I'm always glad that we do it. I spent several weeks finding and coordinating the perfect outfits. This was a short mini session, so we only had 20 minutes to work our magic. My friend Lorel took these and did an amazing job.
Dallin was not happy about being there. He cried most of the time because he was mad about what pants he was wearing. And we had been there not longer than 2 minutes and both Carmen and Charlotte stepped in mud and had it all over their shoes and pants. We must have used an entire pack of wipes trying to clean that mess up. I could only here the clock ticking away with our 20 minutes as each wipe was pulled from the pack. But regardless of the the hoopla behind the scenes, I think they turned out pretty darn cute.
