We've been BUSY

The month of June was a very busy one for our family. David was gone most of the month for work to India and Thailand and other places. My mom and niece came to visit us. Carmen had so much fun playing with Peyton. We also made it the County Fair with Grandma Bean. Aliza called every animal a dog! Goat, pig, cow...no matter, it was a doggy. I really wanted to post about each of these things, but time has just gotten away and this is what you get.

We also took part in our community to volunteer for the 4th of July festivites. Myself and a friend organized a "Decorated Bike Parade" for all of Mountain House. We had judges come out and pick 1st and 2nd place winners, who recieved trophies. The winners got to walk in the Mountain House 4th of July Parade! My good friend was the organizer for the big parade and called on all her friends to help. We spent long hours getting the parade set up and going, but it was so much fun and turned out so great! I've posted some pictures here, but if you want to see all of my parade pictures I'vel posted the link for them. We hope everyone had a great Independance Day.

Our next adventure is a camping trip with two other families. We are going for three nights to Shaver Lake. Between the three families there will be 17 people. It will be a lot of fun! (at least I keep trying to convince myself...)

Cute pictures. Looked like a fun parade. We didn't do much. Jeff is deployed to California for 5 weeks - and we really can't do any fireoworks because we have no night time!! :)

That is so good of you to help with the parade. I wouldn't even think of doing something like that. I hope you have a good time on your camping trip---I'm sure you will.
