Being alone is no fun...

David has been gone since last Friday and it's been fine so far. We have kept ourselves busy and enjoyed being together. But it seems everyday around 6:00 becomes the time of day that I just miss David. I get so lonely and long to have him here to entertain the girls and to give me a reason to make dinner and have a real meal. I am just feeling so lonely tonight. The girls are having popcorn for dinner because I ran out of quick kid friendly meal ideas...oh well, I don't really care about them have popcorn for dinner. This is really just a rambling of my boredom. I don't think anyone really reads this blog anyways. We can't wait to have him home!!!

I read it and I'm sorry you are having a lonely night, I wish there was something I could've done, I actually ended up picking up Sam in Livermore because of a flat tire, my whole evening was thrown off! Anyway, hopefully we'll see you tomorrow (if I have a car to drive!)

I always read your blog. Sorry you're so sad and lonely. I wish we lived closer so we could hang out all the time.

I feel your pain. I would probably curl up on the couch and watch all the chick flicks I could before my DH came back and made me watch war movies. OR.... I might do something other than have to sit and watch Jeapordy! with him every evening. Hmmm... the POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS.

I feel the same way you do every deployment Jay goes on. It is hard, especially at those times of the day where you wish they were there with you helping out. The nights I couldn't figure out what to fix for dinner, I ordered a pizza for delivery.

Nothing wrong with popcorn at all for dinner. It is hard to cook kids and you. Cereal was for dinner in my household!! :)

Wow! I just found your blog (hope you don't mind) and your photography is BEAUTIFUL! I had no idea. Forget JC Penny. Aaron bought me a nice camera last year and I still don't really know how to use it, except to snap some shots here and there. I'll have to get some pointers from you.

It really is a bummer when the DH is gone. Mine gets back tomorrow from a 12 day over-seas trip. His trips always give me great appreciation for him and for single parents.
