Ugh! It's such a disgusting word. Whether a person is excited to move or not, the actual process of moving is the pits! Although we had packers and movers, there was still a lot of work to do. And somehow on moving day, it still didn't all seem real to me.
We were "homeless" for two weeks. We spent a few days at Grandma Bean's house and the rest of the time hotel hopping. All in all we slept in six different places within two weeks! Needless to say it was a LONG two weeks. Here Charlotte is taking in all the comfort of Grandma Beans bed!
In the airport getting ready to leave. This was after all our emotional good-byes with friends and family.
Good Bye Califonria!
Hello Virginia! This was how we all felt after the long day of flying. (Except the rest of us kept our shirts on!)

April, I am so glad that you guys are in VA now!! It was so fun to see you again! And thanks for this post, I have been feeling a little overwhelmed because in about 2 months we are going to be moving into Charlottesville, about 20 minutes from where we are now! And I haven't been excited about packing and with our girls being small....but after reading your post and knowing that you just moved from CA....I am going to stop feeling bummed and start packing!! Thanks for the encouragement through your blog!
I'm giggleing out loud! Glad you kept your shirts on!
