We had our first snow fall on Thursday and the girls were so excited to see it for the first time. These are the cookies I spent hours making for Carmen's class party that was cancelled due to the weather. They turned out really cute and very tasty. Too bad she didn't get to take them to class.
The girls are looking out the front door at the falling snow.
Then they finally decided to go out and play. Carmen immediately started making snow balls and throwing them at me!
Aliza was determined to catch some flakes on her tongue.
And well... Charlotte wanted to be out in it, but didn't want any part of the snow to touch her.
I was excited to see my girls discover the fun of snow. Living in California I was a little sad that they would never get to play in the snow or have a surprise day off from school. But with the snow, came a lot of wetness tracked into the house, wet clothes, hot baths and A LOT of laundry.
