Spring Break - Part Two

We met up with some friends from church to go see the Dixie Stampede. Whoa, was this a lot of fun! We were served a four course dinner and had live entertainment from riders on horses. The whole concept was the north vs. the south during the civil war and there were all sorts of different competitions to see which side would win. David and I were even asked to participate in the show! It was a really fun time and I would recommend it for all to see. It helped that we had the best seats in the house too (just by luck!)

We spent some time walking around the town of Gatlinburg. The main strip is full of fun little shops and it a lot of fun to just walk around.

I had to include this picture to prove that Bunny is indeed still very much a part of the family. Also, I thought Aliza looked adorable wearing her little purse across her shoulder like this! We gave them each money on the first day and told them that they were responsible for it. If they wanted to buy something, they had to use their money. If they lost it, then it was too bad so sad! And when their money was gone, they didn't get any more. They both were very responsible and Carmen learned some hard lessons when her money ran out so quickly. Lucky for her, she has a very sharing little sister!

I've never heard of anything like that, but it sounds really fun!
