Dallin - two weeks old

I'm trying to soak in every minute of this newborn stage. I know it passes so quickly. The girls have been so wonderful and helpful during these last two weeks.

Carmen begs to hold Dallin any chance she can. And she is generally successful at getting him to stop crying. I remember her being the same way with Charlotte. 

Aliza has been slow to warm up to him. She has only held him one time, the day he came home. But over the last few days I've seen her touching him and getting his pacifier for him. I think she just feels very uneasy around him, it's not that she doesn't love him. I know she does. 

  

 And Charlotte loves to help with him. Help give a bath, give a bottle, get his clothes, change his diaper, quiet his cries... And every time she holds him she says, "I think he likes me!". And I love that she refers to nursing as "boobing"! Charlotte has eased into her new role as a big sister quite smoothly.
