Carmen really wants a pet bunny. She has been asking for one for a while, so we finally took her to the pet store to get an idea of what one would cost. Turns out the bunny cost $40 dollars, plus a cage is $50, plus food... it was adding up quickly. We told her that if she could save enough for the bunny, we would buy the cage and food. We felt pretty confident that she would never be able to save that much money, or at least not before her interest changed. But everyday for nearly two weeks after school she had a Kool-aid stand. She made nearly $25 off that Kool-aid! She is quit the entrepreneur, which she gets from her dad. That money plus some birthday money she had got her really close to her goal.
