This year I think we had more fun passing out the candy for Halloween rather than the Trick or Treating part.
Our neighborhood has a jack-o-lantern carving contest each year. This year, this pumpkin won and we got coupons for free ice cream.

The older kids (the ones who really were too old for trick or treating) had to sing a song to get their candy. If they didn't sing, they got an apple! It was pretty funny and next year we might just set up a hidden camera!!
