Wow, this girl is a whole decade old now! What an incredible 10 years it has been! Aliza woke up sick on Carmen's birthday, so that put a big damper on bday celebrations. Carmen was pretty disappointed because this was the first year that she actually had school and not Spring break on her birthday. She was looking forward to going out to lunch with me. But I promised I would make it up to her later. I also, didn't take many pictures for such a grand birthday...
Carmen is so incredible. She has a sweet sensitive spirit, yet she is so smart and talented. Carmen is great at piano and painting. And she is one of the greatest problem solvers that I know. She is such a logical thinker that sometimes I think she's smarter than me. She just knows how to make things work, whether be technological or logistical she helps me in so many ways.
