We decided to get serious about soccer this year. Both Charlotte and Carmen wanted to give it a try this season. I hesitated a lot because it seemed like a lot of commitment, but I really grew to love it! David got roped into coaching Charlotte's team and did a fantastic job! Those kids all loved him.
Charlotte was an aggressive player and always went after the ball. She's got so much potential in this sport. I hope she keeps it up!
Most of Carmen's games were at the same time as Charlotte's, so we had to divide and conquer a lot. David coached most of the time with Dallin on his shoulders. "Dad of the Year" right there!
Carmen was a little slow to warm up to the game, but really improved so much! I got such a thrill out of watching her play. Her favorite position was goalie. But when she was out on offense, she was amazing! I hope to see her continue with soccer as well.
And these guys were always such great cheerleaders!
