Grandma Patton

My Grandma Patton passed away just before Christmas. I flew out to Idaho the day after Christmas for the funeral with my parents. While it was a sad reason to go, it was so nice to spend so much time with my parents and to see my moms side of the family, which I don't see very often. I love my Patton family, and often feel sad about not knowing them all that well. They each are so amazing and fascinating. I didn't take many pictures, but here I am with my grandpa and my mom. He's such a great guy. Always the story teller and such a cowboy poet. I didn't grow up on a farm, yet this lifestyle is such a part of my Patton family. They eat, breath and sleep everything farm life! So I find it fascinating anytime I get to experience it. It was great to reminisce about my grandma. She sure was a funny lady!

And here I am with mom at Shoshone Falls. The road down closer was icy and closed, so that was as close as we could get. But they were beautiful. I'd love to go in the warmer months and see them up closer.
