With COVID in full swing, it seemed that there hadn't been a high adventure in a long while for the youth in our ward. So David and some friends got together and planned a couple day hiking / camping trip on the Appalachian Trail. The plan was for Carmen, David and Aliza to attend from our family. Carmen backed out at the last minute, so it was just David and Aliza. It was a physically hard trip, but I think they both had a good time.
The following families joined on the trip: Schill, Buer, Carlson, Jacobs, Harris and Sorensen. I'm go glad that Aliza was able to do something hard and do it with her Dad!
