March was not a very exciting month, other than some birthday celebrations. We mostly just felt like we were in survival mode trying to make it to Spring break.
My baby hit double digits! I don't know if that is exciting or sad. But I do love seeing my kids grow! Dallin is a pretty incredible son and I feel like him turning 10 has pushed us into a different stage of life.
He requested Buffalo Wild Wings for his birthday dinner and Oreo ice cream cake afterwards.
A few days later another exciting birthday for Charlotte. She turned 13 and we officially have 3 teenagers in the house. She requested Panda Express for dinner and Oreo Lasagna for her cake. We had to squeeze things in between a lot of different activities, but it was a good day for her. And she is turning into such a beautiful young lady.
Also, everyone was sick with the stomach bug....somehow I escaped the germs, but everyone else was taken down one by one. It wasn't a fun few weeks.
And then one of the latest snow storms I ever experience, we got snow again on the 26th...I really thought it was all over. Can it just be Spring already?!?!
To end the month, we celebrated Carmen's 17th birthday a few days early because we were leaving on Spring break out to Utah and Idaho. We have a trip planned to do some college visits and see family. She was chosen as Student of the quarter at her tech school where she does EMT. Her teacher is super impressed with her leadership skills and her ability to just jump right into a new school. He told her that she has really brought a wonderful new dynamic to the class. Carmen has blossomed here in Michigan and it's been fun to be on the sidelines and watch her grow. I've included some pictures of her doing practice scenarios with her team.
