Carmen's Showcase Night

 Carmen's school had a showcase night last week in which they could show off some of the things they made and have been learning about. We were all excited to go and see some of her projects.

 

 They have been learning about plants and the greenhouse effect. This is the lima bean seeds she planted that are now growing

 This was her reading the write up she had to do on her plant. We noticed that all of her pictures were very elaborate and her writings were very brief! (But now that I think about it, that's a lot like me! I always have a lot of pictures and very few words, just enough to get the point across...)

 Her story about why she likes grapes - "because they are juicy and purple"

 Carmen's most favorite class at school is Art! She loves it and loves her teacher. These are the pot and turtle she made during art class.

We are so proud of all that she has learned this year in Kindergarten and look forward to watching her grow in more ways than one in the following years to come.
