Christmas

We had a great Christmas this year. We had two weeks of vacation and David was able to be off that whole time as well. We decorated ginger bread houses and sugar cookies, we had Scout the Elf on the Shelf visit all month and do some pretty naughty things. We went to a family party where Aliza got to play Mary, Charlotte was a sheep and Carmen was the Angel in the nativity play. We did some caroling and were secret Santas. We watched a lot of movies.  The kids has matching Pjs and new slippers. And we even had a fancy dinner on Christmas day, with just our family. It was so nice to have a quiet Christmas and be together so much.

For New Years Eve we played Monopoly Jr., had a Full House marathon and ate tons of junk food (because we were back to Weight Watchers the next day). And Carmen was so proud of herself for staying up till midnight! She looks sleepy in the picture, but she really wasn't. We toasted in the new year and then went straight to bed. We were headed to the Great Wolf Lodge the next day.
