We have had our fair share of snow days this year. I wouldn't say that we've had a lot of snow, but we sure have missed a lot of days of school. The kids have already added an extra week onto the end of the school year. Plus, some make-up days before then. But we did have a couple of days of all day playing in the snow. I sort of have a love/hate relationship with snow. I don't really enjoy playing in it myself. And I loathe the amount of laundry it creates and the puddles of melted snow all over my floors. But I do love that my kids will stay outside all day and play in it. And I love that they will let me take fun pictures of them in the beautiful snow. And although I hate when they come in and out a million times a day, I love making them hot chocolate to warm their little frozen bodies. And to top it off, our backyard may be pretty worthless the rest of the year, but come a good snow storm, we've got the best sledding hill around!
"Sno Fun" being stuck inside. This poor guy wanted to go out and play so badly, but I really didn't want to take him.
Now, NO MORE SNOW! We are ready for warmer weather. Bring on the sprinkler, popsicles and flip flops!
