I have an old high school acquaintance that I keep in touch with through Facebook. She has a daughter who was born at 23 weeks and survived, but with many health issues that she will live with the rest of her life. This friend of mine was raising money for a March of Dimes race and my girls wanted to contribute! So they had a lemonade stand and raised $8 for March of Dimes. I was so excited to tell my friend about their generous donation. She was thrilled!
Charlotte really wanted to learn how to read this year. While she has struggled through it all year, I feel confident in saying that she had great success.
Dallin finally got to go to Snip Its for a hair cut. I won't take my kids here because it's so expensive, but this day I gave in and let him go. I was reminded of why I think this place is ridiculous. But he sure looked handsome!
Spending my birthday on the soccer pitch!
And then birthday dinner with my parents at Travinio
This boy loves his Rescue Bots. He plays with them all day long and carries them whenever we go on errands.
My Mother's Day was nice. I was served breakfast in bed and got to sleep in. I was showered with handmade cards and flowers and gifts. I love these kiddos who call me MOM.
We are getting pretty good at pet sitting. We watched Lucas for several days and the kids had a great time with him. I really enjoyed having him around as well. But it didn't make me want to get a dog.... Dallin still asks about Lucas.
Charlotte has missed a lot of school this year due to some health issues she has been having, so this day we took advantage and got her hair cut! I love this cut on my girls.
David's company, Frontline, had an employee appreciation dinner at Keswick Hall - a swanky hotel/spa resort. It was a beautiful setting and the food was amazing. Plus a night out with this handsome guy is always fun.
Rockin' my shades at the bus stop. I've been counting down the end of school longer than the kids have been counting. I'm so ready for summer vacation.
