Poor Dallin's birthday came with really poor timing this year. It happened to be MOVING DAY too. So, we decided to celebrate a few days early.

The girls were super great about making sure he had an awesome day.
We can't forget the birthday spankings either!
These Magna Tiles were a godsend! They were such a huge hit that they kept him busy and happy for hours and days at a time so I could get the final boxes packed.

These next pictures were on his real birthday - which was also the girls last day at Baker Butler and moving day.... it was a busy day!
These first pictures at at our Bayberry house....
And then these next ones are at our Ivy Springs house!

EVERYONE who helped us move got a piece of cake! And thanks to Oma, there actually was cake and decorations and party hats! We just love Oma!
It was a really long day. By the end of the day Dallin was on the couch crying because he just wanted to "go home". I kept trying to explain that we were home.... what a tough concept for a 4 year old!
I just love everything about Dallin! He's so loving and very sincere. He's always wrapping his arms around me and saying "you're the best mommy ever". And he's always saying Thank You to me! Today he randomly came up to me and told me thank you for doing his laundry. I just love that kid!! He loves chocolate milk and corn dogs. He loves everything Power Rangers. He hates getting his hands dirty, but loves a messy Popsicle. And he loves to listen to church songs, just like his daddy! The divide between girly/boyish things is growing larger. If the girls are watching a "girl" show or doing something he deems "girly", he claims there is NOTHING TO DO.... he continues to educate me on all things BOYS and my boy vocabulary grows each day.
