For my birthday David surprised me with a new sewing machine. I was so surprised! And I was grateful that it came with a free sewing class to learn how to use it.
The girls immediately wanted me to make them dresses, so I found this simple pattern online and whipped up some dresses/skirts for all of us. It has been fun to actually have a machine that works and finally be able to convince myself that the last machine's inability to work was not ALL due to "user's error".
