Day 10

Day 10 of Team Bean Goes to Europe: today was perhaps the most boring day. We woke up to more rain and decided we didn’t want to take the 1 1/2 hr ride to church with all of our belongings and risk arriving soaking wet. So we did a a lesson at home about Paul traveling to Rome and being thrown in prison for preaching about Jesus. We also talked about how prophets give us warnings and how thankful we are that we have a prophet and 12 apostles on the earth today to still us give us warnings. What a blessing! We said goodbye to Cinque Terre. Our Airbnb was about a 20 min. walk to the train station and it was lightly raining on our walk. What adventures we’ve had on this trip!! We then got on the train and traveled 6 hours to Rome! These are the only pictures I have from today. The first one is our view last night from our balcony. The others are walking to the train and then Dallin’s entertainment on the ride. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how well all the kids have done with all the walking and heat and carrying heavy backpacks, but Dallin has surprised me the most. Tonight we are in a Marriott and it is really nice having AC!
