Day 4: Today was our last day in Paris. We sent the morning going for a LONG walk, so long we ended it with a tuktuk ride, and doing some souvenir shopping. We grabbed some pizza for lunch. I love how all the restaurants are little street cafes. Then we boarded a bus and rode to Giverny to see the home of Monet and the gorgeous Japanese Gardens where the Lily Pond is located. It was stunning and full of so many beautiful flowers! I can see why he wanted to paint there and got so much inspiration from the garden. Then back to Paris where we had dinner at a place we had eaten two days ago. We got the same waiter who was so amazing. He went above and beyond in every detail. He even brought me a Tide to Go pen when he saw I spilled on my shirt! And Dallin was sure to share his duck joke with him, which he thought was hilarious. After eating we had to head to the Louvre to at least get the iconic pictures! Then it was home to pack up and get ready to say goodbye to the City of Lights. A fun fact about our Airbnb...it’s directly across the street from where the Statue of Liberty was built before being gifted to the United States. This picture hangs in the lobby of our apartment.
Saying Good bye to our Airbnb
At the airport (with more macarons) headed to Venice!
